On the back of opening a new Delphian Ballistics office in Houston and some outstandingly good TriStim production enhancement deployments (news of those stunning results very soon), we’re very pleased to announce that we’ve made a new appointment to manage TriStim Technical Sales in the United States.
As a well-respected industry figure, Dave Ditty joins us as Technical Sales Manager, North America, and brings almost 30 years of valuable oil and gas experience that combines technical expertise in perforating and innovative sales flair. With an impressive technical background, first as a geologist, and later as a wireline engineer specialising in running open hole geophysical logging, Dave’s strong technical sales experience has had a focus on also providing expert technical support to customers. This will be an important part of his role with TriStim going forwards.
Most recently, Dave earned an admirable reputation as a well-liked technical sales representative for the Titan Division of Hunting Energy Services. In that role, he was responsible for the Marcellus and Utica Shale regions and managed the wireline companies in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. Prior to that, he managed strategic development of a new regional base in the Marcellus Shale area for Pioneer Wireline Services. And before that, Dave worked as a District Manager for Weatherford International in the North East.
We’d set out our North American growth objectives on this blog a few weeks ago and Dave was one of those answered the call. With the new office in Houston, Dave to run technical sales, and some great results from US pilot wells about to appear, we now have the right structure in place to deliver fast growth in North America.

Dave Ditty, said: “I am very excited to be part of this innovative team and look forward to the challenges of introducing TriStim to the US perforating market. As rig activity begins to increase again, this is an excellent time to introduce fresh ideas like TriStim to the industry here. I’m looking forward to being able to demonstrate the technology’s promising potential when production results from wells treated with TriStim become available shortly.”
Dave will be working across all of the active basins where the rig counts are beginning to climb. The Permian basin is an immediate focus, as are the Marcellus and Utica shales. Oklahoma, the front range of the Rocky mountains, and the Bakken areas can also expect timely visits from Dave soon.
Dave also said “as the price of oil beings to climb, more companies are going to want to start completing wells again. But this time around, it won’t be so hectic. There’ll be time to pause for breath, sit down calmly and take a detailed look at new technology such as TriStim that has such potential to deliver real productivity benefits”.
